Are You In Need of Diapers?

Northlawn United Methodist Church has launched a brand new Diaper Ministry to serve the NE Grand Rapids area and beyond.

The need is great as diapers are not funded by government assistance programs. The Northlawn Diaper Ministry will supplement family needs of diapers and wipes each month. Families will receive a package diapers (between 22-36 on average) and a pack of wipes for each child.  Initially, there will be one distribution day (3rd Saturday) per month, eventually expanding to two days per month (1st and 3rd Saturdays).  This will be a “no questions asked” service; we only ask that people do not sell the diapers that they receive.  All families are welcomed to receive diapers, regardless of where they live.

When Are You Open?

As we are launching our ministry, it will initially be open from 10-11 am on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Please park in the south lot and use the south entrance (handicap accessible) for the Diaper Ministry.

This door is 30 yards from a bus stop on Rapid Line 13.

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver diapers and pickups are only available during the open hours each month.

Guidelines and Expectations

  • Selling diapers you receive from us is strictly prohibited and you will be immediately removed from further participation in our program.
  • Diapers provided are only for YOUR CHILD and not on behalf of someone else’s children. If you know someone who could benefit from the Northlawn Diaper Ministry feel free to refer them to us.
  • Falsifying the above information will prohibit your participation in our program.
  • You agree that when you are financially stable you will no longer request diapers from our program.
