NORTHLAWNKIDS

Investing in our present and our future

We believe that kids have the capacity to walk closely with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts. Our ministry to kids at Northlawn is growing as we are learning more about how our kids are leading the way and how we can support them in that journey.

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Who's Involved?

Newborns through preschoolers (age 4) have a safe place to develop on Sunday mornings with our great nursery staff.

Older preschoolers through sixth grade students start their morning in worship.  After the opening and Children's Time they  head upstairs for our Kid's Connection program.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry. Every Kid's Connection volunteer has passed a background check and is committed to making Northlawn a safe and caring place.Kids Connection is Biblically relevant, and a fun environment for kids.

Jesus said, β€œLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

How should I prepare my kids?

Each Sunday, all children are invited to join Pastor Zach or another leader up front for Children's Time, a message specifically for kids based on the message for the week's sermon topic.  They conclude with a prayer and then children are dismisse to head upstairs with leaders for Kid's Connection.

Infants and young preschoolers can be dropped off in the nursery before worship.  Families are invited to check out the Kid's Connection and nursery spaces before the service.  Simply let our greeteer know that you would like a tour upon arriving at Northlawn or contact the church in advance so we can have a guide waiting to meet you.
